OUR ARTISTS and projects

NEUKÖLLN FEELS ART

Art has always been an essential part of the Neukölln vibe for us. That’s why, with “Neukölln Feels Art,” we’re once again bringing lots of creative energy, inspiring artists, and amazing art moments to the Neukölln Arcaden this year. Come on over—discover new inspiration and connect with others.

“Your Art Beat” (April 11–September 1, 2026)

We’re kicking things off with the incredible exhibition by the artist collective YOUR ART BEAT e.V. With “Trash Studies,” the Trash Museum, and much more, we’re bringing relevant topics and fresh perspectives right into the center. Look forward to a special exhibition, interactive formats, and inspiring impulses around art, sustainability, and urban life. The program also includes yoga sessions (Sat, 11:00 AM–1:00 PM), live art sessions, workshops, and food performances (Thu & Fri, 12:00–1:00 PM).

We’ll celebrate the opening on April 10, 2026. From April 11 onwards, the exhibition will be open every Thursday to Saturday on the second floor.

„Ryu Park“ is back! (from May 4, 2026)

Artist Ryu Park is back with us at the center and is launching her new live painting project on the ground floor this week.

Over the course of around two weeks, you can watch live each day as a unique artwork gradually comes to life on the wall. Look forward to creative energy, exciting insights into the artistic process, and special art moments right on site.

50 Gramm Kunst (26–27 June 2026)

How much creative energy can fit into 50 grams? Create your own art object weighing exactly 50 grams—with no limits to your creativity!

All artworks will become part of a collaborative art project and will be presented in an exhibition at the Kesselhaus of KINDL—Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst as part of 48 Stunden Neukölln.

The open art studio will take place on the ground floor and is open to everyone. Free entry — just drop by! Opening hours are June 26 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and June 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

48 Stunden Neukölln (3–5 July 2026)

This year, Neukölln Arcaden will once again be part of the popular art festival “48 Stunden Neukölln”. From 3 to 5 July 2026, two areas on the ground floor will be transformed into special art spaces filled with urban vibes, creative energy and exciting perspectives.

Visitors can look forward to two remarkable exhibitions: “City Rumours” and “Endtime Visions”. Both exhibitions bring together different artistic viewpoints and show just how diverse, raw, emotional and inspiring art in an urban space can be.

The kick-off will take place on 3 July 2026 with a press event at the Neukölln Arcaden, where the participating artists will introduce themselves in person.

City Rumours(3–5 July 2026)

With “City Rumours”, the sounds, stories, everyday moments and hidden vibes of the city move directly into the shopping centre. Seven artists explore sounds, encounters, conversations, street impressions and urban landscapes, transforming them into their very own artistic expressions.

Visitors can expect an exhibition full of urban flow, exciting perspectives and artistic moments that make the energy of the city truly tangible.

„Endtime Visions“ (3–5 July 2026)

Right next to “City Rumours”, “Endtime Visions” opens up an intense view of farewells, ruptures, transformation and new possibilities. The exhibition brings together artistic positions that engage with change, memory, migration, technological violence and social renegotiation.

Together, they create a dense and emotional panorama between end-time visions, reflection and renewed creative energy.

RAV Artistrio“: „Balancing Petals“ & „Vision Beyond Reach“ (June – September 2026)

From June to September, two extraordinary installations by the artist collective RAV Artistrio will be created in the heart of the centre. Ritayan Rath, Alexandr Luc and Vanessa Neuber will bring their individual styles together directly inside Neukölln Arcaden.

With “Balancing Petals”, visitors can look forward to an abstract sculpture made of balancing petals. Inspired by desert roses, crystalline shapes and Scandinavian cairns, the artwork brings together colour, structure, balance and symbolism. The seven petals represent unity in diversity.

The second artwork, “Vision Beyond Reach”, invites visitors into a dreamlike in-between world of awakening, memory and longing. Soft textures, spiral forms and an interplay of light and shadow create a mysterious atmosphere that invites visitors to pause, explore and discover.

The artist network will be present throughout the summer and will bring further creative surprises to the centre. Simply come by, explore the spaces and let yourself be inspired by the urban art vibes.

2025

OUR ARTISTS and projects

NEUKÖLLN FEELS ART

Art in the neighborhood, art for everyone – we remain true to this guiding principle in 2025. Building on successful projects like “Neukölln goes Art,” we are once again opening our doors to creative impulses and inspiring encounters in everyday life. “Neukölln Feels Art” is an invitation to rediscover the neighborhood – with art that moves people, invites participation, and opens up new perspectives.

A traditional opening event: “48 Hours Neukölln” (June 27–28, 2025)

As a long-standing partner of Berlin’s largest independent art festival, we are delighted to be part of “48 Hours Neukölln” again in 2025. Under this year’s festival theme , “WTF (What the Fact)? Between Truth and Perception,” we will transform three spaces in the center into curated galleries. Here, we will showcase works by artists from Neukölln – diverse, surprising, and thought-provoking.

Young Perspectives: “Imaginary Home” (July 16–28, 2025)

In cooperation with the Cultural Affairs Department of the Neukölln District Office, we are continuing an art project that has been running for several years. Under the motto “Imaginary Home,” impressive works by students are being created in artistic workshops and will be on display from July 16th to 28th. The exhibition opening on July 16th (11 a.m.) offers a special glimpse into the lives of young people from our district.

Art in Motion: “New Reality Column Art” (August 1 – September 6, 2025)

Another highlight is our “New Reality Column Art” project . Here, artists transform our columns into impressive works of art. Visitors are invited to experience the creative process firsthand through live painting demonstrations . Our co-creation event offers a unique experience , allowing guests to contribute to the design of a column themselves. The theme: abstract representations of people, animals, and plants – with the aim of playfully breaking down rigid structures.

Art’s over, school’s on – The grand art finale! (September 5, 2025)

The big highlight of our “New Reality Column Art” campaign awaits you on September 5th: At the  co-creation event,  you can design a column together with artist  Alice Bischof  . Your own ideas, colors, and creative impulses are expressly encouraged – this way, art in our center will become a true collaborative work.

Neukölln is pure art

“Art is part of our DNA and an expression of Neukölln’s unique creativity,” says our Center Manager Nadia Seniuta. “With ‘Neukölln Feels Art,’ we are continuing our commitment in 2025. We are proud to once again be a partner of ‘48 Hours Neukölln’ – and look forward to inspiring encounters within the framework of ‘New Reality Column Art’ and ‘Alternative Realities.’”

We warmly invite all art enthusiasts to join us in experiencing the year 2025 as an art journey through the Neukölln Arcades. “Neukölln Feels Art” – and we feel it with every new project.
